Letycia Pastrana
Executive Director, Gwinnett Village Community Alliance
Letycia joined Gwinnett Village Community Alliance (GVCA) in June 2009, bringing 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, management and organizational development to GVCA. In her role, Letycia oversees programs that make a difference in Gwinnett County such as GVCA's Job Fair, Opportunity Zone Project, and financial literacy programs to help families become self - sufficient. She is a leader in creating opportunities for all through strategic partnerships with United Way, Gwinnett Technical College, and Gwinnett Village CID. Letycia provides strategic and technical capacity to educate and mobilize regional nonprofit leaders to achieve shared goals together with state and local governments, and other sectors. She is active in Hispanic political projects in the Metro Atlanta area. Letycia's high-energy style, combined with her unique life experiences, makes her a natural catalyst for positive change in Gwinnett County. Letycia's areas of expertise include strategic planning and capacity building, leadership and management, partnership and board development, program evaluation, and management of multicultural teams and projects. Active in community service, Letycia has served on the boards of several charities and non-profit groups. She mentors young adolescent girls to engage them in youth civic service and leadership in their communities as well as become life-long learners. She has a BA in Health Science from California State University and completed graduate course work at Arizona State University in Leadership Education. Leadership Gwinnett, Class of 2010-11. Ebony Ramsey
Director of Programs & Resource Development
Ebony joined Gwinnett Village Community Alliance in December 2012, bringing 7 years of experience in grant writing, project management, and research development. Her areas of expertise include technical writing, program analysis, and research methods. Ebony brings a unique blend of experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit arenas that demand a high level of client interaction and regular presentations to government officials, community partners, and other stakeholders. In her current capacity, Ebony drives the overall programmatic strategy for the organization and seeks to maintain and expand GVCA's funding from private foundations, as well as develop new sources of income from individual events and governmental grants. A native of Colorado, Ebony earned her BA in Political Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and an MS in Urban Policy from Georgia State University. She's an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Contact Ebony Ramsey:
