The Gwinnett Village Community Alliance (GVCA) hosted a Wine and Cheese reception on March 22, 2010 to thank local business and community leaders and strategic partners for their support and participation. Community involvement and participation is at the heart of the GVCA as they work towards their goal of increasing financial well-being among low- to moderate-income families living or working within the Gwinnett Village.
Executive Director, Letycia Pastrana, kicked the night off with the
exciting announcement of The First Annual Great Village Trade Auction
-- the organization’s signature event. The auction is scheduled to take
place on October 21, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the 1818 Club
on Sugarloaf Parkway. This unique fundraiser features a live auction
for goods and services from local businesses and offers sponsorship
opportunities for local businesses and individuals. Please click here to download the Sponsor Package.
In attendance were representatives of the GVFSC program partners: VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), Consumer Credit Counseling Service, The Impact! Group, The United Way, Gwinnett Tech, Louise Radloff Middle School, Summerour Middle School, and the Mayor of Norcross, Bucky Johnson.
The Gwinnett Village Community Alliance is a non-profit charitable
organization. The programs and services of the organization would not
be successful without community participation and financial support. If
you are interested in volunteering your time and talents or would like
to make a donation, please contact Letycia Pastrana at 770-449-6515 or
